Yup, ten years of WoW will do that..

You guys have had great experience with randoms, and that's awesome. Keep in mind those are randoms who are putting forth the extra effort to try and find other people. I've had plenty of pugs that were great, and I've had my share of "oh god this is terrible, how did they even function enough to click the group finder button?!" groups as well.

Same here, I never seem to be online at the same time as most of my clan. destinyLFG.com is my crutch.

I tried that 100 site, maybe my group of 100 dudes just suck, but there ain't many games going on most nights and nearly none of them are raids.

Don't forget to go look for your own group if you find the auto one isn't quite what you're looking for. Keep your eye on a full group if you're interested as well, people drop out and openings come available. Personally I focus on serious players, mics required, age 22+, and playing evenings (6pm-12 midnight)

I got lucky, the group I'm in (Delta Company 212) is centered around my profile age, play times, etc, and it just happens to be one of the most active groups. We have so many raids scheduled it's silly, I'm finding with my main and first alt, that I've run all the raids by the end of the week (Even a little CE HM). You can search groups based on criteria to see if there's another group that has the activity/player style you need, and you can join multiple groups. If it helps, you can adjust your age to a higher level if you feel like you're constantly getting stuck with kids/stoners. Inactive people are frequently being removed, so the longer you use the site, the better it gets.

I really don't want to sound like I'm gushing, but it's been a huge boost to the fun that I'm having to be able to look forward to a scheduled raid/event and even if half the group drops out, it's still visible to everyone and more people will sign up.

I might try to join your group. I think I made a mistake and picked age as a priority, now i'm stuck in some group full of people with kids and responsibilities.

I think the Heroic is only solar burn.

Weird that since the DLC she's been 3/8 nightfalls.

Yeah I saw that triple burn thing. Should make things interesting. Definitely need to run my Defender and not get grouped up. And yes, getting a little annoying that she's been almost 1/2 of the Nightfalls since the DLC dropped.

Funny thing is I have this game on PS4 as well. Got the bundle cause I wanted the white PS4 and the prices were the same as non-bundled systems.

Not willing to do all this grinding all over again. Never even opened the plastic.

Yeah it would be a tough decision for sure. I guess it comes down to how bad you really want to open up more play options with other people. Personally, I probably wouldn't want to play the same game on 2 different consoles. I'd probably just sell the PS4 copy and be done with it.

With that being said, I'm wishing I had an XBox 360 now. There's such a small selection of games for the XB1 right now and reading up on all the older games out there, there's a huge list of games that sound fun on the 360 platform. Of course, the reality is I barely have time for Destiny so I might overwhelm myself if I had another console to play games on.
