There is one other Hot Lava FR-S in our town; in fact I suspect that I test drove it when I first started looking at the car. Anyway, I had to pick up my daughter from her high school the other day. Just as we were pulling out onto the main road, the other HL FR-S rolled by. My daughter looks at it and says, "Hey Dad, that car looks just like yours." A moment later she asks, "Is that what we look like going down the road?" Me: "Yes!" Her: "Cool!!"

Before I purchased my BRZ, I just moved to Chatham for work
and passed a Toyota dealership with a FRS exactly like yours sitting out front.
I went there twice to see about test drives and I was ready to buy.
I was out there waiting for quite awhile and gave up
next time I went inside, nobody seemed to want to help me.
week later bought a brand new BRZ in Sarnia off the truck

Seems to be all too common a theme with the Candaian dealers.
I went into the showroom to look at a TC (wasn't looking to buy anything but saw first one on road and was curious) and mine was the showroom car to display all the TRD add ons.
For over half an hour I was in it, under it (well as much as I could since lowered), had the hood and trunk open and was almost drooling. All that time all the sales people stayed huddled over by the Toyotas and watched me. I had to go and drag one over and convince them I was actually looking to buy!

Kind of on topic, I've been noticing a lot more people lately have been complimenting the car. If you run into a gearhead the first remark is how it should have more HP, but everyone else thinks it's a great little car.

Also a lady I met the other day agreed to go with me to cars and coffee this weekend. So I'm cleaning out the car as best I can in the hopes she'll let me get some photos of her with it
