My biggest pet peeve as of lately has been the amount of people on the road at night with no lights on! How F@%KING stupid do you have to be to drive down the highway at night with no lights on!

The other day a driver in a BLACK civic was driving in RAIN with no lights on! I couldn't believe it. After almost rear-ending the guy, I tried to signal to him as I was passing by honking and flashing my lights but it didn't work. No joke the next day on the same stretch of highway Im stuck behind a cop with no lights on. Luckily he figured it out pretty soon after.

My girlfriend makes fun of me because I always point these people out and I see at least one a day. Lose my mind every time.

And the extension of that where they are driving in snowsqualls or heavy fog with no lights on. These people almost invariably seem to prefer white or grey cars that are virtually invisible in the conditions.

Forgot one:

People who get all the way to the END of an on-ramp THEN decide to look and see if they can merge, then STOP! WTF?!?

They need white boarders so people know they don't have to stop!

I've also seen young children (around 3-7) standing in trucks unfastened and looking out the window. Seriously parents? Are you that stupid...

For the record - if you have to stop, you should. A yield simply states that you do not have the right-of-way - if, for example, a lovely old lady with a walker is crossing, you're probably gonna have to stop.

Making the assumption that it's just a rolling stop is short-sighted (literally! look ahead a little and you can probably tell if the car in front of you needs to stop.)

That said, if someone can't tell they have no-one to yield TO, they probably shouldn't be driving. I assume THIS is the 'people' that are being hated on here.

People that don't understand that an intersection where the traffic lights are out but blinking that a blinking yellow means "proceed with caution" and a blinking red means "stop you moron the other direction has the right of way".
