Very nice. such a classic wheel.
Well, it is only 12 days into the year and if I buy everything on my mod-to-do-list I will have spent $1,000 on the car already....... silly silly me... ( a big chunk of that is my tune, EBC, etc, and that will be bought before the car heads out in spring)

Wheels look good!
I haven't been having good luck with my car with winter, have had so many weird things happen. First wasn't so weird, brand new Michelin X-Ice III winter tires, still drove around like a skating rink anytime a little snow appeared. Put 265lbs of Water Softner Salt to get rid of trunk space and it helped quiet a bit but the car is still very squirrely on snow.Second was my windows started screwing up, the would go down perfectly fine, but would never go up. I noticed this when the window came down a little to clear the weather sealant and never went back up. Throught it was ice stuck or a bumped regulator so I started fiddling with it in the parking lot of superstore (didn't want the window down a bit while it was parked) and the window rolled itself all the way down, both of them refused to come back up. Then on my way to Toyota my splash guard by the drivers side got ripped off by snow... got both of those fixed that day, they couldn't figure out the window but it started working and hasn't glitched up since Third, I decided to practice some Icy road conditions in a Coscto parking lot at 2am, by myself, with no other cars insight. Practiced under steer, hard braking, and just when I get to over steer a cop pulls up, being quiet rude the whole time and gives me a stunting ticket. Yes my fault, just bad luck and timing as he couldn't see me from the road due to all the fog. Fourth is my Thermastat quit on me.. got that replaced under warranty today. Weird for a car with 12k km on it to quit so suddenly. Needless to say if these issues keep happening my parents might encourage me to find something else as I bought a new car to avoid having yet more projects that never ran haha. Good news though, my forester with a JDM STi body conversion should be finished by the end of the month so my FRS can rest its wings. Mods I've done over the winter only consist of a GFB Pulley Kit and a Lip Spoiler. Pics soon |

Its a TRD rep from eBay, I had to do some work on it to cut down excess plastic from the molding, but since I'm in auto body that was no problem for me which is why I went with an eBay spoiler in the first place. I decided to paint it black as that's sorta the color scheme I'm going with and when I vinyl wrap my roof and trunk black it'll match. That plus a roof spoiler lip, window visors, firestorm color matched Toyota badge for the rear black for the front, and a real catback will satisfy me while I dump money into my forester ![]() Not the best photo, didn't realize how much of the sun flare was stepping into the car itself. I'll take another today of it. JayP those wheels are so amazing! All these nice wheels keep popping up on this thread and I'm sitting here not wanting to rock my rotas Last edited by IIDutch; 01-13-2015 at 12:10 PM. |

BC's just for driving around? Probably ok. TB recommends them. I would probably pay a bit more for Fortunes, Bilsteins or the ST's but the BC's may come with top hats and from what I understand the cheaper bilsteins and ST's do not.
