It has been a while, car is put away for the winter but I have several small projects underway.
  • Interior upgrade (dash panels, potentially the steering wheel and door cards)
  • New shift knob from Anarchy Motive on the way
  • Motec Shift Springs
  • Aluminum reverse lock out to replace the cheap factory plastic one
  • Front lip needs to be installed
  • I have a few options for the fender garnishes - don't know which to go with yet or just to stay with the stock 86 piston ones
  • Rear fog needs to be wired in (I put the bulb in and did all of that work already, just need to wire it in to the marker lights so it comes on with the running lights
  • Delicious Tuning flash and go tune, new map sensor, electronic boost controller and better tune will be done in the spring as well

I have been looking at different sets of wheels too, wouldn't mind going to a 17x8 or 18x8 square set up with some nice light wheels but I have not settled on anything yet. Some sort of rear sub-frame mounts/bushings/collars will go in as well. Maybe just the Whiteline bushings.

Yeah, that Goliath is sick in acid green. I would like to have it in this color, but it wouldnt match my car. So I went for more OEM look.
You dont have any shortshifter?

I would like to get TWS 17x8, they should be very similar to TRD and they are not so expensive when ordering from Japan.

I have rear from Whiteline and I like it, except the cost of it.

I have kind of always wanted TSW Nurburgring rims because they remind me so much of some of Porsche's wheels but I like my big brembo's up front...sigh. one day I will find some rims that work for me.

Would you say BRZ side fender garnish (with the chrome bit) or the Aero stabilizer fins? Random question.

I believe that the 17x8's fit the sprint kit, is the Brembo kit wider? (thinking about the 18x8's myself actually)

TWS not TSW :-)
But I like those Nurburgrings too.

I like TRD aero fins, but not their price. I would rather get this money into performance upgrade first.

What best brakes could you fit into 17/8?

You can fit the STi brembo set up into a few 17x8's. Cheap example would be Enkei RPf1 at +45. Could also get some volks that would fit. But you did say "best brakes" so that would probably be a good Alcon kit

If only I could get the Mrs. to not have a heart attack if I got a set of TWS wheels. They are around $800 per wheel here.

At least you can buy them. I have to order them from Japan.
And I would deny to tell my Mrs. their price
