Tax rate is based on where you live, not the dealership location (unless it's out of state).

CA DMV will not let you register your NEW car bought out of state though.

Oh they will, but as stated earlier, you will pay the tax when you register the car. They will give you only a temp reg to get yourself home.

Emissions testing may be legit. In California, we have Smog Abatement ($20., excluded on Hybrids).

Doc Fees are at every dealer and there is a limit on how much can be charged.

Regional Adjustment may be if you're part of the Gulf State Toyota (GST) dealers. Not 100% sure, but I think Texas is under their distribution.

Yeah, my bad, that's what I meant. You won't get away with not paying tax in CA. Unless you keep it registered out of state.

At least with us, we order all incoming units with carpet mats/cargo mat. The rest are up to the person reserving the vehicle.
