What should I expect from stock clutch with ~250 rwtq?

Title says it all - anyone spent any significant amount of time at about 250wtq on the stock clutch? Okay as long as I'm not flooring it at 2k in 5th? Will hold for a few thousand but slowly let go? I haven't been able to really find any definitive power levels where the stock clutch lets go, despite a good bit of searching. What seems to be for sure is that this power level will definitely be pushing it if I'm hard on it.

Not sure if this helps but I was told by Fensport that the standard clutch is only good for up to about 250 bhp, but not sure if that was crank bhp or wheel bhp (and they didn't mention torque, only horsepower). Also in the video about Crawford making their own built motor for the BRZ they said the clutch was one of the first things to go when they started adding more power.

I think it's limits are about 230wtq before slipping. Mine started to slip in high gear right around that mark, if memory serves me correctly .

You may want to think about axles as well. Seems that a lot of guys that start putting out much more than 250 start breaking them.

230wtq is about the limit. Driven gingerly (like a redhead) it may last a few months. 4th and 5th gear stomps will quicken the deterioration process considerably. Axles are fine as long as you're not too low.

Just to put my two cents in i have 310 whp and i ride that stock clutch harder than hell. The only time it ever slips is if i try to launch other than that its holding up amazingly.

Stock clutch here as well, slips only on 5th and 6th gear under load, otherwise fine. I'm at 250torque iirc

I don't think this is accurate. I've had 380+wtq for more than a year and axles are fine.

I just recently upgrade to DSS axles, but only because of a great deal, not necessity.

The biggest enemy of axles is not wtq, but more living the "low lyfe". Big suspension drops will extend the axle beyond its designed range and they will snap rather easily.

this^ i've read plenty of guys at stock power with a big drop snapping their axles.

Yes! I have read both the higher power (not many, but some) and the big drop (not some, but many) have the issue. What is rare is the stock power, stock height guys having an issue.

Just brought it up because it is a consideration to keep in mind not an "OH my god" moment.
