Thank you all for your answers. The reason why I'm asking is a discussion we are having in another forum, in which a few ppl suggest, that it's possible to safely run E85 on a completely stock FT86 without tune.

All I've read and learned about E85 is, that it is possible to run it on a stock tune, but it is not recommended because the ECU doesn't account for the smaller fuel value of E85. The engine would run to lean.

By the way: what about lubrication of the stock fuel pump? As far as I know E85 has worse lubrication capabilities than pump gas - doesn't the stock fuel pump wear out faster with E85, besides having to pump more fuel?
