I get a whoosh screeching sound when I downshift into second above 50. The engine gets real loud.

My last car didn't do that. Should I go FI? Coilovers?

What's the best oil to get?

I down shift from 50 to 2nd all the time and don't get that noise!
Just switch to metric speedo your problem will go away and you can tell all your buddies you do 100 in a 60 zone all the time!!!

I want to put a new engine In my car. I have access to a 5.0 Ford engine for free. Could I feasibly do the swap over a weekend by myself for less than 1000?

I was soaking with Mr. Tada last night, and broke my best credit card keeping him in Tequila. That dude can DRINK. I finally got him to admit that the plans to re-open the LFA line as a re-branded FR-S are coming along, although they are having real trouble getting the cost below 100K. Last time I saw him, it was 180K so progress is being made. He let slip that to bust that barrier, India might get the nod as the producer of the car with Japan making only the FR-S badge.

Hard to tell with that dude.

I just started getting back into records. I bought me two new turntables and have started rounding up all the metal bands I used to listen to back in the day on vinyl. All my old cassette tapes are likely unplayable anymore.

Two turntables! And a microphone? Is that where it's at???

I still have all my albums from 1972 to 1980. About 200 of them.
Aerosmith to ZZ Top and just about any metal/hard/glam rock band in between.

Also have about 50 of my 8 track tapes!!!! Anybody know an 8 track HU for an FRS?
