I just called and checked on my VON. Before the rep even asked for it, she first asked if I had ordered a manual transmission. I said yes, and she immediately said it's on the waitlist. So it's implied that automatics are being fulfilled first (at least for now).

I'm number 2 or 3 at Bloominton. I was first told 3, then 2. Then I was told by the sales rep that Subaru has told them orders won't necessarily be filled in the order they were submitted.

That sucks I guess I'm lucky I wanted an automatic. Hopefully the MT's won't be far behind.

Any chance you could share 11s symbol/digit in your VIN? This "most early BRZs are automatic" thing is bothering me, and 11s digit usually indicated tranny type.

Checking in. On the list in Brooklyn dark and burnsville. I had a way better experience at the burnsville Subaru. Plus they didn't require a deposit. Word.

Edit:: burnsville Subaru has a galaxie blue limited at coming in the 29th that has not been sold as of may 3rd

Anyone hear any new info on delivery dates in our area? There was talk of BRZ deliveries as soon as 5/15, but now it sounds like that was a miscommunication to some dealers.

i think it was a typo. 5/15 seems way too early for people in the midwest. someone just took delivery in seatle. i'm going to guess that it will take at least a week before transportation trucks get here. the end of the month is probably a more realistic delivery date.

I agree, my sales person is still saying mine has an ETA of the 27th. I'm just hoping they'll surprise me and it will show up sooner.

I've negoatiated the best deal I think I'm going to get on financing, and I'm going to push for them to give me a value on my trade in next week sometime.

Either way, it looks like you'll get your BRZ first Neutron, then it'll be a duel to see if my FR-S gets here before ayau's BRZ.

It's on amigo!
