If you said "no" to any of those questions, you shouldn't put stuff like that on your car. Because its top to bottom, right to left.

Full Canto speaker since birth. Don't worry, it's a pretty small sticker and mostly transparent so it doesn't catch attention. It's mostly just for me and the occasional person that knows Chinese. I was thinking of doing it in Japanese but I don't speak or write it and don't have a Japanese name either. First character's my last name so if I drew it wrong my parents would probably back hand my face.

speaking =/= reading & writing.

I read, write and speak korean fluently (japanese, koreans, and chinese all write in the same format).

That is written like english, but backwards :P

I know the exact frustration. It's stupidly complicated for Canto, there's a separate written, speaking and reading language. Now most Asian languages go from right to left and horizontally to conform better with latin languages but my dad taught me most of my written language, which was the traditional way of doing it, the old top to bottom and right to left.

Did you learn to draw Korean the newer way, horizontally? That's awesome. But I'm wondering, does Korean even have the traditional vertical drawing?

Haha, that's awesome. I know the some other Asian languages say it in the format 8,6 but in Chinese they say 8,10,6 to make 86. (Well not exactly but the 10 here is more like the 'ty' in eighty) First character's a name so I don't expect that to be transferable.

Every time anybody posts anything there will be differing opinions and if you can't take the bad with the good that is when you need to GTFO or STFU.
There are also such a things as "banter" and "Joking" but some people are just so angry inside that they can not recognize these perfectly acceptable forms of interaction for what they are.
I can not in my wildest imagination picture how incredibly lifeless a forum where everybody agreed all the time would be! Any forum with all threads that said "I want stickers", followed by 500 "OK"s would not be around long!
A forum is a type of community and as such there are people involved for the social aspects not just the technical and sometimes people's priorities can clash. The results are rarely pretty!
I AGREE...

Is there a noose associated with that soap box?...after reading this thread it might come in handy. This is terminal
