Oh and I spend 14 hours a week on the 401 and see all kinds of strange shit go down!!!!!
My mom just totalled her Rav4 on the 401. Some guy in a Jeep hit her from behind, then a transport truck hit the Jeep which then hit my moms car again. Then, the best part, the guy in the Jeep left the scene of the accident!

This sounds strange and please don't misconstrue my comment but am I the only person that finds it weird to be having this conversation with a current "regular" on here?
What I mean is, many times when the "is it totaled?" type thread comes up it is made by somebody that rarely makes any other posts or it is their very first introductory statement!

Cliu is here all the time and instead of my normal "well that sucks" and forget it thoughts I actually have some sympathy.
Gonna be nervous for the whole 2 hour drive home now!

Thanks Tcoat, and I do appreciate it. I come to FT86 forums for the community, and that's exactly what it is. Although I'm still pretty sad about my car being in an accident at all, the support from this forums makes it bearable. The car is obviously not totalled, or in that bad of a condition (relatively), but as someone who takes pride and care in their car, it makes me furious that I'm even in this situation.

Anyways, I'd like to thank everyone for the sincere thoughts and support. It's awesome and I hope my car gets restored back to it's original condition pre-accident!

I had a few minor modifications to the car including HIDs, and switchback turn signal lights, will this have any affect on my insurance claim?

What does everyone think of the damage. No air bags were deployed. This sucks.

oh my god.

Sorry for damages. Good to know you are physically okay. Whoever hit you........ I think I've spotted you many a times around the GTA, looking forward to see the car again when she is back in action.

If the car that hit indeed ran a red light, DON'T let your insurance put you at fault for it. You only get one accident forgiveness (every x amount of years), so it's better to save it for when you'll actually need it.

But glad that you're unharmed.
