If I got a CF hood (most likely when adding a supercharger), I would paint it because I would be buying it for reasons 1, 2 and don't really care about 3. I like the weave but I'm not a fan of the black hood look particularly the way Toybaru chose to run the physical hood line.

If the hood line dipped down between the headlights to the down break in the bumper I might reconsider.

Good point. I don't really even need the CF hood now because I won't be getting it supercharged until next year, I think. I should probably just save the money and keep the hood stock for now...

I think there's a couple places but it's not cheap.

Or are you taking about the cars?

Our former Mayor claimed Portland was a hub for the sex-traffic of teens. You could probably get whatever you want under the Burnside bridge.

Was he complaining or bragging?
Not sure I want to do anything that involves the words "Under the bridge"!

Oops, sorry! I forget there is a Portland in Maine. A road trip to this one would be a long one!

I was talking about that one!
And was serious about renting a Twin (the car type) since I will be there for a week in February and want to drive this road you spoke of!

Left turn on red onto one-way streets (unless posted) is allowed in Portland. Beware of the stupidest pedestrians on Urf. Beware of TriMet vehicles, especially any bus. It seems to be a matter of pride for the drivers to see how badly they can run a red light.

If you drive with any alacrity at all, prepared to be frustrated at the glacial pace, even if traffic is moving well. If the sign says "40", that typically means take 40 minutes to reach 40. Be prepared for "better" cars than an FR-S to be driven by soul-dead zombies. If you are on a fun road behind a BMW (for example) that is moving well in the straights, be prepared for the NDF inside to stand on the brakes at the corner entrance.

Always be on the lookout for full-blown retards on bicycles, especially when turning in any direction, ESPECIALLY near green-painted bike lanes as they assume that is some sort of immunity from physics.

On fun roads, NEVER assume to clown who looks you in the eyes wont pull out in front of you.
