You just need to get the right compound and suspension setup dialed. Don't get too hung up on width, you're going to continue having traction issues if you feel throwing more rubber down is going to save you.

you don't NEED them. i don't know how low you will go, how uneven your drop in the rear will be, etc. get them if you want to get the best out of your suspension or if you're afraid it won't fit, reading this thread you should have a clear idea of what is needed to make what fit.

looks nice, but please read thread title. 225 isn't meaty, but that sidewall sure is bubbly!

THIS.

make sure its not too stiff, you want the car to squat and absorb some of that power.

Thank you and sorry about that Jive. I haven't read the OP for a while and got mired down in the posts above mine about 60,000,000 tq/hp, LCA's and what tires will hold that down.

I re-read you original post and understand. I removed my post so that I won't dilute the conversation.

I am sure that my years as a vegetarian have given me a weak understanding of 'meaty' and thus the confusion.

Looks like he's on buddy club coils and cusco RLCA's. Among a bunch of other chassis braces and suspension parts.

Hey all, I'm looking for a tire size suggestion for a square set of Enkei RS05RR 18x8.5 +42. I have coilovers and rear lower control arms already and my current alignment has -1.8° of camber all around. From what I've been reading, 245/40 seems to have the best meaty look. Any thoughts?
