I want to come!! I'm on crappy worn out stock tires, so I'll be taking it easy... but it's been way too long since I've gone for a fun drive! Count me in as long as it's not wet.

Damn, so now I need to watch this thread too? I was keeping my eye out for one labelled "Twisted Sisters" or something similar, but oh well.

That said, I WILL be checking in to see about future Sisters runs. I just did one with the MR2 group a few months ago (I work for the MR2 shop that hosted it), and we are doing it again this Valentines Day. Hopefully one day I'll get out there with other 86 owners - mother-in-law lives near Sea World, so my wife and I are down there often enough.

Also, if anyone wants to join us on V-Day, please let me know. It's primarily an MR2 thing, but there's already a few "bastards" going, and we're all car guys. That, and my shop is unofficially hosting it again, so I can invite whoever

1604 fr-s crash ?said they were street racing. Possibly 2. Seen on news this morning. And I'm in for the 24th

I used to live near that area. Typical bros in Mustangs and Camaros would always try to bait me into races on my way home. Looks like the 86 driver passed away and was around my age.

Scary stuff.

I can't make it out on the 24th, but if any of ya'll want to meet for a pre-run hangout on Friday the 23rd, I'd be willing to set up a place to meet and junk? I wanna see everyone again, it's been too long

I have to attend a going away party Friday evening for a co-worker who got a position at USAA. Other folks might be up for a meet though.

Such a preventable waste. Posts on facebook indicate he had the FRS for only a couple of weeks. Life is precious folks. Couple of weeks ago there was a head on and fatality near where I live. Be safe out there.

If the weather does not cooperate on the 24th of Jan. then the 14th of Feb. sounds like a potential "Plan B" .... or, a good date for just another cruise! Keep us updated.

Confirmed that I am off work for the 24th. Now let's hope the weather cooperates. Perhaps we can have a backup plan, like a meet in Fredricksberg (or however you spell it) or something if it's not going to be safe on the sisters.
