♕ The 4th Sword (Raven GT86 Build)

Most recent picture (Work in Progress)

Welcome

I'd like to think I'm late in the game, but I’ve always had my eye on the FRS.
I took advantage of a deal on a stock m/t 2013 Raven FRS a couple months back. Purchased it on Sept 21, 2014.
As for the title of this build thread, it’s to pay homage to one of my favorite characters in a show.

A short intro to who I am. I’m an illustrator. I use social media as a means of making a living.
Currently running an Instagram account with over 300 thousand followers.
You can get a glimpse of my work by searching ‘itsbirdy’ on any of these platforms if you’re at all curious.
Pokemon art.. it’s serious business..

Now, considering this car as a blank canvas, I knew it wasn't going to stay stock for long.
I tried to accomplish all of the first initial ricer boy normalities that go along with getting a first car,
before I put her away for the winter. I’m considering keeping the car away from gravel and salt.
A majority of the mods at this point are mostly the simple DIYs. Also, small budget cosmetic stuff.

I plan on using the next couple of months (while I wait for winter to pass) to complete the last and final Phase of my build.
And to gather funds of course... You’ll just have to keep Posted.

The Little Things..

So everything I've done to date on the car has been funded by a minimal budget.
Winter was right around the corner, so I decided I'd start by changing the exterior slowly part by part.
I'll wait until spring for all the performance modifications.
Not long after I got the car I received parts including a front lip, helix side markers, a rear diffuser and fog lights.
The first couple of weeks was basically me figuring out my car inside and out.

Interior Trim Vinyl Wrapping Process

I decided to order some green vinyl wrap to play around with. Purely experimental.
I'm satisfied with the outcome. It demands patience, but the material itself is pretty forgiving.
Might follow this green theme .

You're either a genius or really, really sick. Where did you get the vinyl wrap?

Call it artistic boredom.
I ordered the vinyl wrap from www.metrorestyling.com.
They have a huge variety of colors/types and fair pricing.
Enjoy =).

V-Plate & Other Goodies

Just got my new vanity plate in, along with some custom YOSPEED things.
I ended up going with TEIN street flex coil-overs. Just something about that green.
Still playing the waiting game though.
Spring can't come soon enough..

Buddy Clubs

Clean install.
Although the outer shells on both are a little morphed.
