That tail bov should be pretty loud, how did you have it hooked up? Any pics?

I would be worried if you are not hearing it. The best sounding BOV to me is still a vintage authentic Greddy Type-S.

You are not gonna hear much if you are running low boost (6-8 psi).

Well both Tial and Turbosmart are good BOV's. I would honestly just keep the Tial, but if you really want some noise then get the TurboXS RFL. I run that on my other car and have never had any issues with it. Others have reported boost leak issues with the RFL but I am running 26-27psi and have no problems.

Another vote for TurboSmart here. Especially the TurboSmart Supersonic. Had one on my old 93 mr2 turbo and that thing blew off a storm! Sounded glorious.

Placement makes a HUGE difference too, don't forget. My Tial is down inside the fender pretty deep. I never heard it once until I opened the windows on a mountain run. Radio off, windows up, you couldn't hear it at all. Windows down in a canyon, holy hell! Windows down on the highway, I can definitely hear it, but it's not crazy loud.
Also, don't count out the HKS SSQ. I love the wet mouse fart sound it makes. |

Massive fan of the hks ssqv here. Run one on my eclipse. Holds 35psi with no problems. And I like the fact it's more of a chirp than it is a whoosh.

Since we're on this topic about BOV's idk if this is a stupid question or not lol I have looked around. But can you install a BOV in a supercharger kit? I read somewhere on this forum that you just replace the Bypass valve with a Tial BOV since they do exactly the same thing apparently lol.
I was looking into a Jackson Kit |
