Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay. I've been waiting on the owner to get back to me on pricing but we are booked in for the 24th already

BTW, I just scored a full tank of premium for $39. They are out of regular at Shell St.Joseph in Orleans so Vpower 91 was 84.9 cents, woot!.

How did you guys fair with the twins in the storm we just had? Driving my intrepid around, the damn tank couldnt get stuck if i drove it under water in quick sand.. but it does slip and slide..

How many of you who winter plan on keeping the car until it drops, or they drop? I'd like to keep mine until im on life support.. if i can't drive it, just pull the plug!

What storm? I didn't notice a storm.... I did notice lots of parking lots covered in snow and that I was driving a RWD car...

I am hoping until 60 (12 years ). Got a feeling though if I supercharge, it won't make it.

So far this winter we have had 2 days of sketchy driving. The last one, was no issue at all. I like to be in sport mode in the snow.

I always keep my cars until the projected maintenance for things that are going to start breaking gets to be too high.

That is usually around the 10 year mark.

I'm not sure how it's going to translate on the FRS since taking it to the track is certainly going to accelerate the failure of some bits, but since I'm doing all the maintenance and track prep myself it might not be such a big deal.

I'm old like @Pbrown, I turn 49 in Feb, so I figure the FRS is probably my second to last fun car unless I win the lottery.

Old guy chiming in here, but young at heart!
I plan on keeping the FR-S. Guessing within a few years it'll be a dedicated track car, so keep it until I wreck it I guess.

Gotta still have something for the street too, so FT1 it is! (lol)

I'm hoping the FT-1/new Supra is delayed about 5 years (sorry @Pbrown) or maybe the successor to the S2000 if that ever gets released.

At that point it will be close to the end of life for the FRS and I can pick up second or third model year of the one of those.

I did pretty damn good in the storm. 1400km, 3 provinces, and 17 hours of driving in it to be precise.

Trust me when I say these cars are good in the snow. I was making fools out of trucks and Imprezas on the way home

Kids these days...
I'm on the ten year plan too but will keep the car as long as the rust monster stays away. The car is protected by a healthy layer of salt so no worries.
