So all in all so far at least are you happy with the car and it was worth your hard earned money?

Damn that's seriously making me consider the hot lava colour. Decisions decisions.

Something I didn't know before today: the odometer also shows instaneous MPG, average MPG, and outside temp too. Basic car computer stuff these days but a nice touch.

First, congrats again and great write-up! You did well by staying with Hot Lava.

All the specs and reviews say it does telescope. Am I misreading your words or does it not telescope?

Congratulations on getting your car! As many have already stated, I'm envious.

It does telescope, but a few journalists have complained about it not telescoping far enough... Maybe that's HotLavaMan's issue with it?

Can you roll the windows up after shutting off the car? Or, does the ignition need to be on to roll the windows up? The premium Impreza needs to be on, but the BRZ is reported to have a delay to roll the windows up.

By the way, like the color choice.

If I remember correctly you need to have the key to ON to have any control on windows, starting to think its a Japanese feature as both my friends's subaru and my GF's mitsu and BRZ/FR-S do the same thing, it can be quite annoying!

Did you figure out how to make the TRC and VSC go away completely?
Try pushing on the TRC switch for 5 seconds and watch the two yellow warnings come up on the dash.

At that point, you are as free as a bird to smoke those tires like an angry wolf, and get sideways on the raceway and it even allows you to SPIN off the track!
That's what AE86 was all about, total driver control (and total untrained driver lack of control) and that's the spirit and soul this FRS carries in the blood, somewhere deep in the secret settings.
no Committee, no Nannies, ALL PASSION.

This applies to both 6MT and 6AT on both BRZ and FRS.
