Want a first-shipment BRZ? Click here

Carter Subaru in Shoreline WA is getting two non-claimed BRZs in the FIRST SHIPMENT:

silver Limited with automatic trans and no other options. MSRP, no more. total price is $29,365. (sold to forum member Mechaghost)
black automatic Premium loaded with rear spoiler, rear underguard etc etc. MSRP with options, no more. $29,224 (This car just hit the ground and is for sale today 5/14)

If you want a first shipment BRZ, contact Joe Spitz (the guy that runs the cars101.com website that has been so helpful to this community). Jump on this if you want to! I hope this helps some community members. Mods let me know if this is against the rules, Joe just told me about these two cars, and I'd prefer if they went to a forum member.

And... @ Subaru of Puyallup

They apparently HAVE 2 available as of today, both LIMITEDs

One WHITE 6AT, one BLACK 6MT. They did try to run the $1995 over MSRP and after about 5 minutes of negotiation, they pretty much agreed to MSRP plus delivery, taxes, licenses.

I would have picked up the 6MT one if I didn't like the WHITE so much... so her's hoping someone else would get it.

I was really tempted with the BRZ, but then I decided on the WHITE FR-S instead, and went with that. I take delivery sometime next week apparently.

Bummer on both being auto trans, otherwise they'd already be sold.

Well, I had contemplated the 6AT briefly; I know of two current owners who when in thinking of getting a 6MT but bought the AT versions instead. Why?

I was told by one that it was crisp, responsive and edgy. The other, being more of a seasoned veteran of the sports and with a decade of experience told me it was more consistent and predictable. Both of them had no idea how good it was until they tried it and decided to go with that.

I really would have, and then I remembered that we're here in WA state ~ when it snows, no matter how good the TC and AT setups are, I don't think it'll work as well as if I had a MT setup... But if and when a vert model comes out, that would be 6AT.

I might be looking into this! My pre-order is DGM, but I think a Black 6MT Limited would be pretty nice!
