I'd be up for that. I don't have any plans all weekend, so whatever fits your schedules.

Sorry I forgot to post this in the Pittsburgh area. This event happened yesterday but will be held again soon.
Burgers, Fries and a Drive FR-S/BRZ Cruise Five Guys Fox Chapel Freeport Road 5 pm today. If you've got nothing better to do bring your 86 out for a spirited cruise in the Fox Chapel area. 18 miles of rolling hills, s bends, switch backs and blind corners. Should be low traffic being it's a Sunday. Minimal stop signs/traffic lights and decent roads perfect for the 86. WARNING: there are 3 quick blind descending corners on this course 1 of which is a switch back. We will do 2 runs. The first run will be a practice run to get familiar with the course. The second run will be at your own pace. This is NOTa race or time trial. The first rule of 86 club is don't crash your 86. Hope to see you there. |

Update:
Loop 1B is here. Did a test run of this last night. Fellas I think you will enjoy. I'll post the milage when I run it again in the daylight. I forgot to reset the trip odometer the first time. You can run these as cosecutive loops or as stand alone courses. Once again there are lots of twists and minimal stops along the way. WARNING: At speed you will need both hands on the wheel. There's about a mile of residential area where the road is quick but exceeding the speed limit is not recommended. Consequently loop 1B reminds me of Mt. Akina. Cup or water and fresh tofu are optional. Those who know will appreciate that statement lol. I can't wait to run it in reverse. More to come. Stay tuned! |

Hey guys, it's been a while! I had a 2013 BRZ Limited for about 2 years and sold it this past spring. Remembered I still had my snow tires and figured I'd see if anyone here wants them before I put them on craigslist. They're Dunlop WinterSport M3's. 215/45/17. Used for one winter (about 7,000 miles). I believe these are discontinued because tire rack isn't showing them anymore. Best snow tires I've ever had. I used Blizzak LM-32s for years, and these Dunlops were much quieter and handled a lot better on the dry too. Great snow traction, I often drove on totally covered roads without a problem. Even starting on hills was fine after a bit of wheelspin.
Asking $400 OBO for the set of 4 and can meet anywhere in the greater Pittsburgh area.

If you see a whiteout BRZ between Canonsburg and West Mifflin, most likely it is me.
If you see me headed north on 79, I am headed to pittrace to autocross. For those that haven't been autocrossing yet - you should. Log on to www.stcsolo.com for info. Joe |

Joe,
Most of the pittsburgh BRZ/FRS guys keep in touch through the Pittsburgh FT-86 Group on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/pittsburgh86/ During the warmer months we do car cruises and other activities. Stop by and check it out. -Steve
