Bypassing the navigation activation ???

I have a 2015 frs and every time I click the NAV button it gives me some stupid upselling "please see dealer" message. Now a days there always seems to be a way to get through these things and maybe some of you have figured it out. Just wondering if anyone can share with me how to do it ?
Thanks

Don't hit the Nav button! lol. Just find the Nav module on Ebay and pull the stereo and install it. I just bought a 1.0 from Florida and getting it shipped to Oregon soon and will be doing the same. Hopefully its plug and play and the dealer doesn't have to program anything. If anyone has done it maybe they can chime in?......Whitey

I've been wondering the same thing as what @whitey suggested. I'd be pumped if I only had to buy the GPS module.

That's what I am hoping....seems like it should work. It may not be the greatest nav setup I hear but at least its stock. And I guess the module enables AHA?

Well by some luck my car came with the nav module installed. The dealer didn't know what they had so I wasn't really charged for it. I am sure you can just get the module for about 400 instead of 1100. I like it. Used the nav quite a bit and its easy. Aha works great also once you install it on your phone....just get the module!.....Whitey

I thought I had the model number for it, but I don't. I can check in the morning.

Just buy this module, it's the updated one for the 2015 cars. Different part #

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Scion-b...071232&vxp=mtr

It has navi and a few other features. I just recently installed it on my car and it works great. The seller also ships quick and packs it neatly.

I love how you can text on this headunit.
