Just got word from Subaru of Keene that mine is one of 6 allocated for June delivery

No sir. Bertera Subaru in Hartford CT. 3rd largest dealership in New England. I just put my preorder in 11 days ago so if I'm getting it in their first shipment they sure are getting alot of cars in the first, second shipment for sure.

I believe everyone will have their preorders by the 2nd shipment in July.

Those number he gave you are for the entire area, not a single dealership. I find it very hard to believe that a single Subaru dealership will have 36 BRZ's on hand, let alone any Subaru model. And 44 is ridiculous. Most likely, those are the total number they expect for the entire model year.

Yes it's the total. That's why I said "first shipment" in an earlier post.

I got a call from Cityside Subaru regarding my WRB Limited MT (#1 or #2 on list at their dealership). No VON, but I was told that my car is in the first allocation (first ship? whatever) for this area. The salesman gave me a really wide range of when it would be ready: between the beginning of June and the middle of July

. He was guessing sometime in June, but I don't think he really knew.

I was promised to get another update when the car was checked in at port and getting the car would take 1-7 days after that

All of the information is pretty vague, especially without a VON, but that's how waiting for this car has been. I can wait a little longer. In the meantime I will be trying to figure out what ship it's on...

Have until Mon. to choose port installed options/accesories. Also got my window sticker with VIN. I am starting to feel this is not dream, and I will have a new car soon.
