Lees HKS v2 Supercharged GT86

Just thought I'd put s thread up on here as I spend more time browsing this forum than I do on my 'home' forums from the UK - gt86 / brz haven't taken off as much over here yet.

Car is pretty basic for now, I've came to the 86 platform off the back of building a race mini:

Bought the car in July and took it on two trackdays completely stock at my local track - knockhill, decided it needed wheels and tyres so went with Rota Titans in 17x9 et42 with 235/45 Nankang ns2r tyres

Wee video:
[ame]http://youtu.be/VKId-f8Ig_U[/ame]

Suspension and brakes were next (fitted this week)
Went with kw Clubsports 6kg front, 7kg rear, SPL rear arms and a whiteline roll centre + bump steer correction kit. Arms haven't arrived yet so not been able to install them.

Brakes are AP Formula bbk (332 x 26mm) as the stock wheels will fit over these with no spacer (winter time)

Here is a couple pics as of now, next track day is Sunday so I will get the chance to see how the suspension and brakes really are

Spec
2012 Toyota GT86

Chassis
17x9 rota Titan et42
Whiteline roll centre and bump steer correction kit
KW Clubsport coilovers 6kg / 7kg
SPL 'titanium' camber arms

Brakes
AP formula 4 piston 332x26mm
Motul RBF fluid
Ferodo DS2500 pads all round

Engine
Stock for now

Looking forward to further updates here!

I imagine the weather doesn't make an oil cooler as necessary for tracking where you are...

We can get warm weather in the UK :p I've not committed myself to an oil cooler yet as I haven't decided which way I'm going with the engine, if kraftwerks for example I'll need their sandwich plate and gubbins.
Ideally I would like a laminova oil cooler to help heat the oil up during winter etc here but ... We'll see.

Fantastic for the price, excellent dry grip and predictable. Wet is OK.

The brakes are nice, an improvement. Went for them as someone was selling them at about half price and they fit under stock wheels. Ca is my daily driver and in use over winter.

I have ordered an HKS v2 supercharger kit, hks decatted header, hks catted front pipe, and legamax sports 'cat back'

Will most likely order injectors and fuel pump and open the restrictor up 5mm or so.

I've been hearing that as well. Best bang for the buck when it comes to an extreme summer tire. Of course there is better but you're also paying 2-3 times more. I may have to get a set for myself.

Today my hks v2 kit turned up, along with the catback exhaust. Just waiting on the header and front pipe to arrive now then it's ready to go.

Was at knockhill again on Saturday (scotland) quite a damp day.

And a small video with a spin at the end

Still waiting on manifold and front pipe to arrive, and not fitted the SC yet
