All I said was that my uncle knew the guy from a previous purchase he made at Toyota. He did not pull any favors nor did he promise him anything in return. The others on the list were not as prepared as I was in purchasing the car and therefor I get the car first because I had the money to do so. You seem very passionate about this First 86 progam and that's understandable. But you have to also understand that nothing wrong was done during this purchase. As for the $3,000 markup that I overheard, I'm not sure if they said that to make me feel special or if they were serious. Do not call nor make any threats to any dealerships or the Scion company if you do not have facts. Thank you.

P.S.-- Tell me I'm a troll when I post the pics of my new FR-S next week.

I had a dealer try to put that on my tC. If this is the same it is a very thin film with the logo it that they were not able to apply after three attempts.
It was like a tint film for windows and they told me they would get a window company to apply it next time. They also said it is a thin film and would not provide much protection.
I decided to not bother. Maybe this is different but I don't think so

And lo, did you not go out among the masses, and try to be all pimp and baller with thine "I got mine before you guys!" status? I say unto you, you did.

I never said YOU did anything wrong by getting the car early. What I said was that the DEALERSHIP could get in a lot of trouble (and should); and that YOU were a douche for bragging about it on a forum where everybody is waiting (sorta) patiently for their cars. If you really were bumped to the top of the list, don't you think there'd be some others here who might be on that same list? But frankly, given the line of B.S. that you were fed (and believed) about dealer markups and what not, I'm seriously doubting you were bumped to the top like that. Given the way you re-worded your post, I think you think that way too. You can buy the car and still be a troll, little boy.

Now, I believe there was a thread somewhere asking if we were worried about Scion's demographic owning this car? Can I submit this whole thread as proof that we have reason to worry?

Can you chill out? I re-worded the post due to confusion. I did not come here to brag to you guys that I'm getting it before you. I did not come here to show off how I got to receive the first FR-S in Tampa. I did not come here to argue with people named Tuxedocatman, who talk in old english and live off of the forum arguments he gets himself involved in. I was being completely friendly with you all and my intent was not to brag or show off in any way. Now if you could please stop tugging my John and let us get back to the topic at hand. THE NEW 2013 SCION FR-S!!!!!!!

I think I will have to post something about something similar that happened. Check on my next thread if other people are interested in other frs' besides the first86 coming in / being sold.

To the original topic... CONGRATS MAN! Raven is my second choice, but definitely not a bad one! very nice and very cool of Scion to do this for people.
