Got a great deal on an inlet hose from a co-forumer, received it yesterday.

Got my first "mod" today...a custom "base" ECUtek tune by Sharif from Forged Performance. Just something to unlock some of the cool custom driving features, like launch control, flat-foot speed shifting, and rev-matching on downshifts.

Actually did this two days ago, traded the FR-S in on a 2014 Evo X. Needed the two extra doors, missed the turbo and AWD of my WRX and Mazdaspeed6.

Congrats on the EVO

I've been on the fence about a similar thing. Bought my FRS somewhat impulsively and now my wife (voice of reason, I'll never admit) has been on me about having a brand new garage queen that I'm about to FI with a Kraftwerks S/C kit and still have far more $$ to spend and spent already for something that I won't drive in the winter and can barely drive in the summer because of my career. Now I'm thinking I should've just bought a STI hatch moderately modded and called it a day.

Yeah, that was kinda my dilemma too. The FR-S/BRZ is a great little sports car, I just think it functions best as a 2nd vehicle for some people. The people that daily drive them, especially boosted, more power to them.

I agree! It is my second vehicle but seems silly sometimes to have it considering how often I can actually enjoy it. That said I'm still not convinced it has to go

Got rear ended on Sunday and my Scion TC got totalled, so put in an order for a 2014 Scion FRS Argento MT with a 5 Axis Kit and Cusco Racing wheel.

Closing one door opens another I suppose
