I'm at Dragoon Brewing on the west side and there is a dead ringer for Jeff Sides in here.

Not much water on the Roosevelt Lake cruise today. It was a great drive though.

So it's been quiet for a little while now. Let's try and change that.

I've started looking into getting lighting solutions for the front end of my vehicle. I decided to stand firm on the rally inspiration, though I know it's sort of hated, and I am going to be trying to keep it modest. Currently, I am hoping I can find some sort of light bar to hide in the grille so it doesn't stand out but throws enough light to be functional for the cost. Additionally, I am hoping to get a hold of some black rally armour with the red logo for cheaper than $130. I just can't justify the cost when I feel like I could make it myself for cheaper if I had a set to reverse engineer from. I could just buy the rubber and mounting hardware. from like Ace hardware or something. Realistically, I need the mud flaps though if I am going in the dirt. I *still* am pulling mud and dirt out of my car from Scion for Soldliers event. lol

Anyone have any concepts or thoughts?

I know diode dynamics started making light bars not too long ago don't really know how they compare to the high end light bars but I have nothing but good things to say about their led bulbs my car has a full led lightbulb swap from them and no complaints

I've been in communication with Nick about this over at Diode. They range in price and can be seen at: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/l...ight-bars.html for thier light bars and we, the user, are responsible for hook up and mounting location. We'd have to build a custom bracket, though it does come with a universal bracket.

My hope would be to get it hidden in the grille. Anyone have any idea how many inches long the grille is on an Fr-S? They make a curved 50" and curved 60" but I really don't know the front facia of the vehicle is 4 ft or 5ft wide.

Post in the Arizona swap thread. You might have some luck there.

You reminded me to do the same. I've been looking for a Whiteout front bumper cover for months.

Jamie & I will be at this new years eve event for a bit of time, at least. I also did the cars request -- They are going to get back to me on a price.
