@Scracho where did you buy your kraftwerks from?
I just cut and pasted this from a post I wrote in the Kraftwerks thread:

I also had several WRX's and other Turbo vehicles, some of them were factory equipped and others bolt on kits.

My experience with turbo vehicles are great for all out power but once modified I found the vehicle would suffer from the Jekyll and Hyde syndrome with both drivability and reliability. The bolt turbo kit cars I had always required a fair amount of "tweaking" which resulted in more "tweaking time" than actual track/daily/enjoyment time.

With the high static compression of the FA20 and most turbo kits having a front mounted turbo (a few exceptions) heat soak from much higher under hood temps have me concerned for overall reliability long term especially when I consider doing a lot of consecutive hard laps in the car, not to mention the way a turbo delivers the power is FAR less linear than that of a S/C setup. I know this can be argued to death, but this is my opinion based on previous experience.

I considered every S/C kit available and overall the KraftWerks kit I feel is the best engineered, clean looking, upgradable, and ease of installation is what had me sold. Rotrex units have proven to be reliable with great power delivery and a much higher ceiling for power limits than other kits available...

Owning many performance enhanced cars and researching what is available for the 86 platform, the KW kit is in my opinion the best combination of value, performance and engineered with reliability in mind.

Just my $.02

The Vortech system was one of the first kits made available on the 86 platform and since then many others have come to the table with far better engineered kits. IMO Vortech scrambled to get this kit made for the platform to get a head start but they haven't really improved the kit since and requires cutting and modifying to install, not a true "bolt-on" kit. Additionally the centrifugal supercharger design is quite dated and cumbersome when compared to that of the Rotrex units. Another point worth mentioning is to change your drive belt with the Vortech unit you have to unbolt the whole bracket/blower assembly, again not well thought out. Customer service is also subpar from what I have heard too.

I could go on and on lol

I got my kit directly from Kraftwerks. Contact CJ @KraftWerks - He is the man!

Other kits I considered was:
Sprintex
Jackson Racing (also Rotrex blower)

There's one of us running with the Phantom Electric Supercharger, but, that is it for now.

@Scracho did you look at moto East at all for your blower? I been talking to them a bit concerning kraftwerks and they are very competitive. Have heard lots of good things about them too.

Moto-East doesn't make their own system. They sell Sprintex, Jackson Racing and Kraftwerks. I know they tend to push the Sprintex (formally Innovate) system quite a bit and have a great success with that kit.

My concern is ceiling room with that kit. I considered it heavily prior to buying the KW kit, BUT we all eventually give in to the power bug and will want MORE, this is where that kit is limited. The highest numbers I've seen with the standard 210 Sprintex kit is 290WHP with all the bolt-ons using an E85 tune (Not too many fuel stations in our neck of the woods) and smaller blower pulley "over-revving" the blowers safe operation threshold. Does this work?... Sure it does, but for how long and how efficiently? NOW Sprintex has released a new 335 kit (335 represents target power) This blower is massive and even Sprintex is NOT RECOMMENDING using this on a stock motor. Moto-East is currently trying to make this system work on a stock block setup with some promising results... 2 Problems with this... 1) We don't have E85 abundantly here, so fueling this tune is an issue even with 94OCT 2) This is a new kit without a lot of "proven" success through various conditions.

If you haven't seen them already watch these two vids:

[ame]http://youtu.be/EIR8GZxcfZ4[/ame]
and
[ame]http://youtu.be/da97pJrVp7I[/ame]

The Rotrex blower design is superior to that of the screw type and offers more "down the road" power once you outgrow your comfort zone.

At the end of the day pick the setup that suits your driving style and long term goals, thats what I did and that doesn't mean that my decision is better than yours, just different

I can talk on and on... PM me anytime

Spend some time reading through the different threads about each product. I can assure you if you contact CJ @KraftWerks the price is NOT the same

Do you guys know of any good detailing shops? I have some rail dust starting and it sucks to see my brand new, white car with little rust spots all over it.

I'm basically looking for a shop that can remove that, as well as seal the paint up to have it not happen again, or at the very least minimize the occurrence of that. I've read up on it, and I know what's involved. I'd gladly do it myself, but given winter, all of my exterior hoses have been shut off and I don't really have much room in the garage to do it efficiently.

EDIT: Never mind, the Guelph Scion dealership took care of it for FREE. Thanks Jamie!

Another reason why I am willing to drive past a few other dealers to go to Guelph Scion!

We have killer deals on the C38 kits if you are interested. We are probably one of the biggest Kraftwerks Installation Centers and Dealers in the East coast.

Have some Partial Sponsorships available on the C38 Black Housing with EcuTek Kit right now.

Unfortunately, I probably won't drive the 10 or so hours to Philly for that install haha
