Seriously though, I'd spend my $140 on Motul gearbox/diff fluid and Perrin shifter bushing. I love mine.
It would have been me, $140 is kind of short for a track day, good for an AutoX or two depending on the organization.

Everybody with two brain cells firing knows that the best performance upgrade is the nut behind the wheel.

Guess it's my cynicism, he doesn't want to go faster, he wants 'performance/ sound' struck my as the kind of person who's ideal weekend involves hanging out with the car parked.

$140 isn't a lot of money, but it can get you a few nice items, depending what your goals are. Here would be my choices:

Track/Performance: Stoptech Brake Pads ($110) and front camber bolts ($30)

Looks: Clear sidemarkers ($105) or HID headlights ($100) or ebay lip ($100)

Sure it wont be the best quality tint on earth but it will be good tint.

I bought my son a tint package for his TC for Xmas from Tint World the place that tinted my FR-S.

Using a coupon his tint package cost $105 total, FR-S would cost the same.

Tint world is a reputable and known tinting place in my area.

Just about to suggest that my self. Or Weathertech floor mats or a shift knob I think. Something you touch every time your in the car is an important upgrade.

Wow, lots of flaming going on.

If I were you, I would *try* not to mod, just to mod. Do it for a purpose (AutoX, better DD qualities, etc.).

The best mod I did in that price range was the MTEC shifter springs.
