255 tire On TRD springs
Hey guys I looked around in some posts but couldnt find a good answer. Im about to buy a set of wheel 18x8 F and 18x9 R. +35 on all fours. I also plan to buy them tires of course 225 for the front and 255 for the rears. I have TRD springs. Would I encounter any issues with clearance or scraping with that size wheels?
Thanks in advance |

My guess is that the spring/perch will not give you enough clearance. Unless the TRD springs are smaller diameter than stock.

I have 18x8.5 +48 wheels on all fours and they clear the front spring perch by a massive 3 or 4 mm so you should be OK.

Looks i will have to find out by buying it. Just to be safe I'll go with 245 tire on the back.

255 front will not clear unless you have coilovers

Ive got a 245 square setup on 17x8 and have lots of room. Hope that helps a little.
