Test Drive Cars Available to GVRD area.

Saw someone test driving a silver FR-S today around 6ish at the Richmond Auto Mall. From OpenRoad Scion of course. Anyone here, or could be staff? Looks like he was having fun testing its speed, lol.

no idea? Their dedicated Demo comes may 21st? It seems strange to me they'd get ANOTHER before that.

So far I've seen a white one and today a silver one. I work at the Auto Mall and pass by Scion everyday so I'll let you guys know if there are any more new colours, lol.

I fully intend to give the Auto a solid 20/30 minute test drive. But really ONLY because i'm on the fence about owning this car in general. The "quick" 10 minute drive i had in the manual a week ago was full of emotion, laughter..and 300 extra pounds..i'd like to eliminate all of this on my NEXT drive.

I have NO interest in driving the auto, but it is what it is =p

Like Cory, I also would like to test drive the Auto. The first test drive on the manual was good for me but I never really got to open it up so to speak. I've only driven manual a little bit and on my test drive, I was trying not to break it more then focusing on what the car can really do. Plus, what I really wanted to get out of the manual was self confidence that I can really drive the manual without issues in the future. The test drive sealed this for me because the clutch felt very good. Easy and light in terms of feeling, I could actually feel when it was hooking up. Unlike my friends Honda which I learned stick on.

I fully intend to flog the Auto as soon as it arrives for testing. I would love to hit the highway near the Automall and really open it up.

For the record, I am buying a manual though. Just need to get used to it.

Good morning guys. Just wanted to let you know that OR scion took delivery of 1 black manual frs and a silver at car that has been reported here.

I've taken pictures of both cars that were delivered.

Also, I went to take pictures of the port and there's 2 grey, 1 black, 2 blue. With all of the colors coming out, I am not sure as to which to pick. The white is not as nice now because it doesn't provide a nice contrast with the headlamps. It's like seeing a light skinned Girl with light colored contacts. You ever seen an Asian like that? Looks like a cat to me lol.

Blue loOks amazing under the sun!

Don't like the grey to be honest, the pearl gives off a bit of purple as seen from a far away distance.

Silver shows off the skin and lines quite well. I regret not putting money down on a silver limited brz weeks ago.

I wouldn't regret it. As good as silver is at showing body lines, its way too common.

So if they took delivery of 1 black and 1 silver, does Mr.Jay now get the option to buy one of them? I know he wants blue but maybe he did like me and say "I prefer blue but open to colour choices".

If so they should be calling him to offer the car right?

Also, I swear I'm never looking at a Cat/Asian person the same way again! I'll be too busy contrasting their eyes to their skin tone!

EDIT: I guess I have to start cleaning the Audi this weekend. I'm super excited to finally see our cars showing up! I really can't wait any longer.

Nope I didn't get a phone call but I was pretty adamant on getting the blue. Pretty much told him that and WRB are the only colours that interest me. I did however speak to Ahmed this week and he mentioned they were getting the silver auto as their demo car as well as a red and black frs which will have the five axis kit on it, red one for the showroom while the black one is for a customer. That black car could very well be for the number one spot guy there so I dunno tho.

I also confirmed the May 21 is when the auto will be open to test drives and Ahmed said our cars should come soon after.
