FYI - I just went by the port in Richmond because I had 10 free minutes left on my lunch break.

Since we were there, I think they've got a few more cars. They have them stored where we saw that white car last time. There was 1 white FR-S on the lot at the time but not in the same position we saw last time. Not sure if this is a 2nd car or if they just moved it.

I also saw 1 black or asphalt FR-S. Not sure which colour it was exactly but it was new. It still had plastic wrap on the wheels.

In the same position we saw the White FR-S, they actually had a blue Ultramarine!! First time I've got to see the colour in person. I was pretty far from the car but I did like what I could see. They all stil had the white wrappings on the cars.

So right now there is 3 FR-S from what I can see on the lot. 1 White, 1 black or asphalt, and 1 blue Ultramarine!

Sorry for not taking pics, we were only driving by in the car. I'll post this as well in our Vancouver thread so that others will see it.

I do believe that is illegal in Canada and they can't do that. Tell them you will keep quiet as long as they give you a heavy discount

That blue Ultramarine could be mine, was in at the dealer today and mine is in port. If you go back and its not there let me know, it could be on its way home. I CANT WAIT.

Which dealer are you buying from? If its OpenRoad in Richmond, what number is your deposit? If your not ahead of number 2 or number 6, there is no chance in hell that its yours.

Sorry but Jay has number 2 and I have number 6. So unless your number 1, then I doubt that its yours. It's probably mine or his.

Im in mississauga, and im number 1 for a blue one at my dealer. So i still have to wait for it to be put on a train, but mine is in port out your way.

Seems strange it would come from out here. I wonder why they did it this way if thats the case.

The only other thing I could think of which could possibly say its not yours is that OpenRoad Richmond is saying they will get the most allocations in Western Canada.

I realize Mississauga is not exactly Western Canada but who knows how Scion is splitting these things up. They also have 22+ pre orders at OpenRoad so maybe they will fill these first?

On the upside, we've seen several FR-S's at this port. So maybe yours is already on the way too you. Did the dealer tell you when it will be there?

I went in on Monday to my scion dealer (Toronto) and I was given my VIN number and was also told that my blue FR-S was already on the train making its way here. His hoping by the end of May or earlier I will be able to get my car.

Damn! If you guys get an FR-S before us here in Vancouver, I'll be pissed.

Our dealer is only like 5 minutes away from the port. Why is it that we have to wait when you guys get cars sent ASAP.

They should at the very least split them up. Half for us half for you guys or whatever ratio they come up with. I know its based on TC sales though.

Oh and for anyone reading this from OpenRoad, our cars will be arriving after May 21st. May 21st is when they recieve their Automatic test drive FR-S.

They can't sell the cars as soon as they are available. Well, they aren't supposed to anyway. They will have a release date. If they send the East Coast cars on an earlier boat and put them on rail cars then everything should arrive at around the same time.

I'm not sure if there's an official release date for the FR-S but it will probably be June 1 or after. So even if your cars were sitting in port already (like mine) there's no way to get them before then unless you have a dealer who wants to break a few rules.

Scion never said there was an official delivery date tho, right? My dealer said 3 weeks before delivery if we want to be realistic so it puts us @ early june hehe. It would be plain torture to see my FR-S sitting in the dealer's parking lot, especially because its paid for now :o

Sorry but according to the sales rep at OpenRoad, your wrong.

He very clearly told all of us that the car is already on sale. They just don't have any allocations yet for their dealership and they should be arriving on May 21st or shortly after. The test model arrives then.

Now they could be lying to us for some reason but I doubt it. They seem highly motivated to sell us the car. Considering there was atleast 6 of us standing there at the test drive last week showing our intrest, I think they know we want the car and won't stop bothering them until they deliver.

I just don't think their own allocations have showed up. Everything we've seen at the port so far is probably sent else where because of timing. I think they might be trying to release the car to everyone at roughly the same time. OpenRoad is just so close to the port that I bet Scion is sending their cars in one of the last groups because it will take the least time to get to the dealership.

Think of it this way, If I saw you guys out east driving around in your own FR-S's, I would be bothering the dealership asking "Where is mine?". I'm guessing that they are trying to please the masses by not letting anyone buy the car until allocations are everywhere.

He was very clear when he told me "The car is already on sale".

No offical date not. But they did say that the car is on sale now. Just no allocations yet at my dealership.

I'm number 6 on the pre-order list and my insurance is about to expire on my current car. So I've been trying to get a hard delivery date out of them for a while now.

All they've said is allocations are arriving after May 21st. May 21st is also the day their test drive model arrives.

Interesting. I suppose we'll see when the cars arrive via rail. I can't imagine it will take that long for the first to start arriving.

And more cars could very well be on the way. The Seijin looks to be arriving in the San Francisco area and should be heading North after. I know it has BRZ's on it. Just not sure about FR-S'.
