Are you sure that's not oil that ran down the side of the engine? Is that on the passenger side? My guess would be oil scavenging pump cam plate leak, or oil feed line underneath the injector ECU cover.

Edit: i'm guessing thats the overpipe in which case I would suggest looking into the two possibilities I posted above. I'm guessing if you pull the FI ECU cover you'll notice some oil pooling beside the feed line.
Well, it's leaking from there to. I had already re sealed that cam plate once before. I'm also absolutely positive its leaking from the valve cover as well because I've been observing it every morning. I'm going to re seal both with Honda bond. This sucks, but at the same time I'm kind of looking forward to it since I'm really interested in learning how to do something like this. "Kind of" interested.

You can't see it in the pic; but when u look at it in person, you can see it seeping from the valve cover

Yeah fair enough, I just know I had be exact same issue and it looked exactly the same under the car. After redoing the cam plate 3 times, I eventually traced it back to the oil feed line. Oil would collect on top of the head and then "spill over" and drip down the side. Apparently it's a somewhat common issue and the fix is running 2 crush washers

My AVO went in at 2000 miles and I've got 4000 more since then. So far, aside from an issue caused by the common failure of the OEM high pressure fuel pump, it's been solid. When you consider the engine output is nearly double factory spec it's remarkable. Time will tell!
A 9psi ceiling seems pretty low but not surprising. Your numbers are very solid for that boost level though, is this on 93?

I can't imagine the headache tuning these cars must be.

Thanks for posting, I checked out ATS and it looks like they specialize in MR2's, are boxers something they deal with a lot?

Yes, they managed to raise my power by around 250hp and 200tq on 5psi.. the owner even created his own turbo application for his car.

Yes, we ARE an MR2 shop. We do random fun projects for people (Supras, Celica Alltracs, Lancia Stratos replicas, etc), usually long time good customers that have become friends. We have been doing a lot more FA tunes and work, but we don't make products for them, nor are there any immediate plans to. We will gladly replicate my turbo setup and/or install whatever parts/kit you have, but in the same way that any other shop would be willing to do a one-off project for a customer.

Tuning, yes, we will gladly give you a safe boosted tune. Until we find the limits nearly as well as we know the 3S limits, we won't push for the last bit of power, especially on pump gas. We know there are plenty of tuners putting out 300rwhp pump tunes, but we personally don't feel comfortable with that, so you'll see just about all of our pump tunes are capped at about 280rwhp.

Our website is useless. Long story short, we can only change the pages with products. Like if you look at "our cars" you'll see Aaron's green car only has like 500rwhp. It's been 820rwhp for years now. And Scott's 760rwhp orange car isn't on there I don't think...so you'll never see a mention of FRS/BRZ things on the site.

Aaron (the main owner) saw an FRS when they were brand new and bought one on impulse. He did the full NA exhaust route, but we all made fun of him relentlessly over the weekend, so he came in the next working day and threw the keys at another coworker and I, "go ahead and turbo it." So we did. I now own the car.

Here's one of your (Astroboy) graphs. Please correct me if I have any info wrong

- AVO base kit - 5psi
- pump 93
- 2.5" SRT exhaust, no cats
- Tuned by ATS Racing

If you need help uploading them for your build thread, don't be afraid to ask. Good luck with your oil leaks.

- pump 93
- 3" [Dodge Neon] SRT exhaust, no cats (?)
- Tuned by ATS Racing

He notes that it is only at 5 psi

Impressive tune for only 5 PSI. It must be aggressive or its the 3 inch exhaust.
