Yeah Australia and New Zealand are the two crazies I forgot about.

Probably should've taken his advice and google "ft86" before getting so defensive.

"FT86" was the name given to the concepts/prototypes shown in Auto Shows before the final production versions (86, GT86, FRS, BRZ) came out. "FT" means "Future Toyota" and "86" suggests that this car follows the foot steps of the famed AE86 (google "Initial D")

Really, perform a few google searches, read up wikipedia entries on the origin of your car, and watch "Initial D", you'll have a much better understanding of how the car came to be, gain more appreciation for your car, and have a great time doing it.

Another possible origin is from the U.S. Navy's Allowance Type (AT) coding system used for logistic purposes. The allowance type code is a single digit numeric that identifies the reason material is being carried in stock. Throughout the life-cycle of a warship, many pieces of equipment will be upgraded or replaced, requiring the allowance of onboard spare parts associated to the obsolete equipment to be disposed of. The AT code assigned to parts designated for disposition is AT-6.

I actually learned more from this thread than most of the n00b threads. Nice work, n00b.

That's why I said google. Much easier to search the topic you are looking for. Just add ft86club to the end of your search criteria and more accurate results will come up.

Edit: ^^what he said lol

Jeebus fecking krist. I can see quiet Sunday's in your house....

"The weather was a bit rough today wasn't it?"
"Shut up, we talking about the weather yesterday"

"Do you like corn flakes?"
"Shut up, we talked about cereals last month, look it up!"

What will you do when you have had all the coversations once? Never talk about anything again?
