Hahaha I did the same on Saturday night. Big shout out to @skuts? and his friends who carried me through every match while I tried in vain to kill people with Atheon's Epilogue. Took till 2:30am but I finally got it.

It's my first 331dmg primary and I'm really liking it so far. Probably going to mix things up and make it my main gun until the next DLC, been running an Icebreaker loadout for way too long.

Ugh, I wish I had an AE to do it with. Doing it with secondary was a pain. As soon as it was over I switched back to the SUROS and flipped the HAM switch.

I also had a void Comedian and Truth, Truth was pretty great on the more open maps.

AE was helpful but it's such a shit gun for PVP that I might have been better off with a void fusion rifle. I use The Last Word like a crutch in PVP so a zero impact autorifle was painful.

I could use some raid partners. I do Destinylfg.com, but could use some solid players. I've got a Lvl 30 Hunter and Lvl 31 Titan with upgraded weapons. Sorry I've been MIA guys. A new arcade opened up in my area and they have Initial D so I've regressed back to my arcade days in high school haha. Definitely down for some raid and crucible on Christmas day though!

@f0rge we didn't have to carry you to much lol! But yeah I cannot stand using low impact/High RoF auto rifles. I'm more of a hand cannon kind of guy, but when it comes to Auto Rifles I prefer More impact/slow RoF. Great thing I just got a new 331 Suros as a reward during Iron Banner and to make things even better I was the top player on the team! ( my first Crucible Exotic drop )

I managed to solo the first 2 parts of the raid last night and this morning, got raid gauntlets and boots.

It's so easy, the thrall part is the hardest but once you figure it out both sections take like 10-15 mins solo. You get 1 chest and 2 chances at raid gear, totally worth it.

Did you see the video of the guy that solo'd the entire raid? Pretty impressive. He was a bladedancer with closking abilities and used the exotic sniper Patience and Time for additional cloaking. ran through the first parts in no time. I may try this when I level my hunter up. I just acquired gear form the iron banner to hit 31 and have updated weapons.

I play on PSN (Weltall_288) if anyone needs an extra Hunter. I'm sitting on the cusp of level 29. Just need more glimmer. Spent it all on iron banner equipment.

Soloing the whole thing would be super hard. The part after the bridge is intense, especially if you want to get that chest. Then you still have to fight your way all the way to Crota and try to kill him and you only get one more drop, albeit the only one that gives raid weapons.

The first 2 parts still gives you 1 chest with a chance for an exotic and 2 drops with a chance for raid gear and only takes 15 mins, which is way faster than you can do it in any group.

I tried crota just for the hell of it but I don't have gjallahorn so it took too long.
The actual fight isn't that hard solo, it's just doing it all fast enough is what makes it hard.

There's a few different theories floating around.
I don't know exactly, everyone seems to have slightly different experiences but it seems mostly time based on something.
