just wait for the 2016 limited edition monogram red series 2.0

most likely with this interior, i heard toyota badges will be a 200$ option

jokingly aside, knowing how scion works they will always come out with more special editions, i bet they will announce one before dealers can get rid of the yellow TRD cars

For those interested in the Monogram why not just get the BRZ? I mean I believe the features of the Monogram are available anytime on the BRZ. Honestly when I bought mine I didn't even know it was a Monogram, neither did the dealer (not a Scion dealer). We both just thought it was a "loaded" FRS.

Some people think the FRS looks better than the BRZ.

because "SCION is the brand kids like" - regularcarreviews

i wanted a gt86 but it's a scion here for some reason (yes i know why don't quote me and tell me why)

as most people would say "Not really a fan of the brz black mustache", one time, one person at a gas station said good thing you didn't get the subie that's what lesbians drive.

I had the choice between the BRZ and the 86 GTS (Essentially the 2015 Monogram), back in 2012 and chose the 86 because I wasn't feeling the BRZ front bar.

Plus I'd owned two toyotas before and have an affinity with the brand.

Haha. That's why I was asking if there was anyone on here higher up the chain in Toyota/Scion that would know. Being a sales consultant, we're not so privy to what's coming unless our team manager tells us. And that's if they're informed by whoever is higher up above them.

As said by others, I like the front end of the FR-S better than the BRZ. As for the Monogram Series, I chose it because not only do I find the heated mirrors and seats useful where I live, but it has the spoiler I like and I can pick out the color I want (whiteout/halo). The dual-zone climate control and push-button start are just bonuses. Now, if I could get the TRD quad tip exhaust and lip kit that the Release Series 1.0 has, I'd be set.

Just so you know, the heated seats are totally worthless in these cars.

I do sorta wish I had the heated mirrors -- most mornings mine are fogged up.

Oh? Why is that? Isn't hot enough? I never got the chance to try out the Monogram Series we had since it was already held for for someone.

I do believe the alcantara gets colder than fabric.

I can understand that, but wouldn't the heating element negate that?

The heating element is fine. It works very well, actually. I don't know why you would need it in Cali, though.
