Local OFT tuning
Has anyone here try to let your local tuner to tune your OFT tuning file? If yes , what your thought on that. I'm planning on during this in one of my local shop around town.

Feedback I got from a local tuner is that they'd be happy to do it for NA, but are nervous tuning FI without Ecutek.
The OFT tunes aren't anything special, it should give nearly all the options tuners are used to.

If you plan on going with any of the FI kits we already support, just run the off the shelf map and you should be happy. You can always take it to a Dyno shop for testing for fine tuning. In that case the tuner (make sure he is competent) will only really need to tweak the primary fuel and ignition advance tables.

Also he told me e85 was not needed for this car because of no benefit for it due to not enough combustion. Your thoughts on that?

He is probably thinking that the octane enhancement effects of E85 are lost on an NA car. Compared to a turbo engine that can turn up the boost in response, gains aren't going to be as huge. But still, E85 can pick up good power on the FA20 as we've seen. Some of that comes from being able run more advance through the increased octane. But much of it comes from the higher oxygen content and the bump in volumetric efficiency from the in-cylinder cooling effects.
