I raced mainly 1/8 scale buggies and truggies.
Early on there were monster truck classes, Tmaxx and Revos. I built one of the very fist buggy-based truggies and ruled the monster truck class for a couple years! Revos are a blast. Not aure if they still raCE monster trucks any more, I;ve been out of the scene for a long time. |

What I intended to do was buy a "play" body for the chassis so I didn't ruin the original one, just never got around to doing it.

Oldest car in my R/C garage is from '89... Still works. I got a bit of stuff in '97 planning to race and the track shut down... Haven't done much since then. Only so many hobbies, and not sure where I could go at there moment of I even wanted to just go have a bit of fun. Maybe some day.

Besides the FR-S, I do have a collection of various other ones my 3 sons and I have played around with over the years, including a few remote controlled helicopters and various trucks, cars.
One of my favorites is the Halo Scorpion (below, stock photo) which features a laser-tag function. My kids gave it to me for Christmas one year because the Scorpion was the only "weapon" in Halo I was ever any good with other than a sniper. They stopped playing maps that had the Scorpion in it if I was playing...
