Hi everyone... more a curious shopper than buyer at this point, but I am intrigued by the car. I seem to be Subaru's target buyer (47, married, settled in career, no kids at home - female though), but sure don't seem to fit the actual demographic polls here, lol.
I've always loved smallish, nimble cars though, so the BRZ caught my attention |

I posted this earlier because I hadn't seen the sticky but...
Hey guys and gals. I just got on the forum. Like everyone here I'm very interested in the FR-S and BR-Z and wish it had already been on sale a few years ago. For a good ten years in the USA there were plenty of new, inexpensive two-seater RWD cars on the market but hardly any 2+2's unless you counted the Mustang and only recently, the new Camaro. I currently drive an SC300 5-speed with everything but boost. This car would be a great upgrade or addition in a couple of years. Looking forward to how the community, aftermarket respond to this one!

Hey,
Been watching the forums and the FR-S for awhile, recently joined the Army (about a year ago now) and I'm looking to make my first major vehicle purchase. Hopefully after the first batch is out and I see what you guys have to say about it I can test drive and hopefully own one! Also looking to gain some knowledge on tuning, etc. Grew up in construction family, didn't get the chance to use a wrench too often. |

New to Forum - Plans on FRS
New to the forum, but not to the automotive itch.
I'm currently driving a 2006 VW Touareg with the V8. Previous to this was a lifted 4 door Rubicon. The real diamond in my eye was the 2008 Evo X that I had prior to the Rubi. Unfortunately I was young, stupid and lacking talent and wound up writing the car off. Prior to the X being written off it was dyno'd at a ridiculous amount of power and was a riot to drive. There've also been a few Harley's in the mix over the years. I'm too picky to pre order a car without test driving, but as long as the test drive goes like it should at the end of this month I'll be trading in the bulky gas guzzler of an SUV for an FRS. I have a bit of a problem with modifying and making this faster, so who knows where the FRS adventure will end but I'm hoping this community is as supportive as the Evo community is! Rik PS - here are a few photos of past rides.... |

I’m proud to say that not only is ActiveDen an official sponsor of FITC Toronto 2011, but we’re also an exhibitor. That means that I’ll be at a table spreading the good word about Envato and giving away thousands of dollars worth of free stuff. If you’re going to be there, be sure to stop by and say hi. If you do, you’ll get a free t-shirt and have a chance at winning all sorts of prizes, including marketplace credits, Tuts memberships, and a Rockable Press eBook. |

Hello everybody.
I have a red manual on order that I should get sometime around June 1. I currently drive a 2007 Civic Si that I will be trading in if I can't sell it by then. I used to drive a 2007 Mazda Miata PRHT that I absolutely loved, but had to sell it for various reasons 3 years ago. I am excited to get a lightweight, RWD sports car again. Here is my current and previous ride. |
