Anyway, I'm looking forward to a ride!

Good Luck, Bill! I'm excited to see this thing get started.

I am still waiting to hear on a VIN for my car, so it's not looking like I'll get mine too soon.

But in better news, My trip to Spring Nationals is booked for Memorial Day! Wasn't originally planning on going this year but it fits in the schedule and this year has started off well... so why not!

Actually it's a WRX. Same rear suspension, though.

its just a single for now...I am going to get a dual one made up. (Muffler delete) I purchased it from my Co-driver, James Wilson, who had them made in Texas... $58 for the mild steel version, $118 for Stainless... I will let you know when they run another batch of these..

I'm very interested to see how these fit. I have some StarSpecs of the same size i use on my current ride. I'm a little concerned with the front strut and fender lip clearance.

understand ...me too actually...but everything I have read/gotten has these fitting...My Japan Sources say offset should be 38-42...any more they poke...and less they rub.. sooo we'll see.. . The day I pick it up I will be putting it up on the rack and taking lots of pics for fitment .....along with some other things..

Not sure if I will make Nats right now..as vacation time will be at a premium, that and I am not sure if the car will meet the Criteria for Nats this year...They have to produce so many by a certain date.... It also looks like Brianne Corn might join the quest in the future as she has indicated an interest in driving it....

More when I know it.

BTW, how in the world did you talk her out of her B-mod ride for a lowly underpowered street car on street tires? And just as imprortant, how long do you think itll take before she gets bored, realizes her mistake and jumps back to the Legrand?

Ive always thought that clemens' B mod car looked like the most fun ride out there.

In all honesty...She contacted me.....She is still going to be in her B-Mod ride for Nats..she just wants to 'try' the BRZ...

Ha..I can understand that... I honestly think Toyota/Subaru have touched on something special that will re-kindle the sports-car ...One reason I like it.. that..and sports Cars have always been about handling..But I can understand the love for a ASP Solstice to..Power when you need it.....I do miss my STi..for that too..but as you well know, Its not about the power..
