Why would you destroy your brand new car like this?

Because stock the dash and center console look like something out of a Fiesta?

Way to come into someone's build and take a dump

Because it looks better, in a lot of people's eyes.
Although I'm thinking you're trolling

Plenty of room behind the stereo panel for the santanainteriors cup holder. I would slot the dash between the two lower clip receivers and install it on the stereo surround at that point. Will have to do some work beefing up the surround (I'm thinking some aluminum plate to spread out the torque a drink will apply when loaded), but nothing in the dash itself that will be a problem.

what about the airbag thats right behind the dash. sure i can put one in on the left, but the passenger cup holder will simply not work. so i'm back to square one, i need 2 cupholders that will match, if anyone has ideas i'm all ears!

...or if anyone wants my BMW holders to try themselves feel free.

few interior updates, going to powder coat a new reverse lockout and knob to match, and have a new wheels getting some custom stitching done as well

its finals time for me so there really won't be updates until like christmas time as i just have no time to do anything let alone read the forums

I just worry about me, so it isn't a problem, but I would imagine you could stack a pair of them. I haven't looked on santana's site, but I would imagine you could order them to swing out in different directions, bottom one toward the driver and upper to the passenger.

About to tackle the wheel myself but probably going to stick with the OEM style stitching.

Don't know if this guy considered airbags at all, but he managed to get those BMW cup holders installed.

My brother drives a 3 series; personally, I hate those cup holders in terms of ergonomics. IMHO, I think plain well-shaped cup holders work best. But the FR-S's location is inconvenient as hell.

Why not just use the cup holders that are in the side of the door
They work pretty good.

Not if you use a cup with a handle. Or if you get a drink to go with a removable lid. I know Dunkin medium and large iced drinks don't fit worth a crap in the door and you always run the risk of pulling the top off and spilling stuff everywhere when you remove them.

I sometimes wish I was totally lacking in the ability to recognize crap workmanship like in that video. That guy is probably perfectly happy with his horrendous looking mod
