Where? Is it a corrosive Torco blend that turns cylinder heads orange?

Good info... Wonder what differences between our "Shell" stock other than geographical location. Maybe an additive package?

More crap added to the fuel because California has crappy fuel. I can't wait for this tank to be gone. The crickets usually don't come out in the cold. Whatever is in this fuel has released all the crickets all the time. Once the car is warmed up, the crickets are out.

I haven't been on the forum lately, but I have noticed my crickets are miraculously dead or in hibernation for months now.

It has nothing to do with fuel brand/octane (Shell 91 for a good year or so), season (it stopped in spring and has stayed stopped since), temp (anything from 37F to 100F), or anything else I can make sense of.

Quoted for the purpose of pointing this out to the people who say E85 kills the crickets .
