As long as thugs like these and wanna be gangstas with chrome wheels dont buy this car im a happy camper..
YUK!!! The worst america has to offer i wouldnt hire anybody that looks like that not even to wash my car unfortunately in my area they drive v6 camaros & mustangs and scions and they love cadillacs and old lincolns as well so im sure its just a matter of time until they start getting this car and putting on ugly wheels and stickers.

But it will be interesting to see how insurance rates go and whether there will be a real difference between the FRS and BRZ over time.

buy the car cause you like it and modify or drive it the way you want to. to each person their own. but i do know that feeling when i see a civic, and im like WTF... lol i see it more than i like to admit... i'll shead the invisible tear, the first time i see that on the FRS/BRZ but what am i going to do about it? hopefully this forum will be a good source of enlightenment to those who are blind...
do other people put me in that same category/demographic as a ricer? maybe but who cares??? i mod my car cause it's my hobby and it's an expression of what i like. |

Well I'm fine with the rate of a sports car but that's besides the point, say if it's 2500 initially to insure the car yearly but then due to a high accident rate the next year I get charged another 500 bucks of course I'm going to be pissed about it. And I will probably cringe when I see modifications that actually make the car a worse performer. "yo man look at my 10.5 inch wheels all around lowered on bags with sick camber man! I can't even get out of my driveway it's so sick!"

For any old-timers: how were the 240Z and original RX-7 regarded when new?

I wanna cry whenever I see my beloved RX-8's being turned into project cars for "drifting," loud exhausts, lowered to scrape the ground, etc. The BRZ/FR-S will suffer the same fate. |
