Did this one also have the front pipe?
What was that noise while the car was out of sight? Please tell me that neighborhood is in a flight path for single engine airplanes, because that noise would be way out of line.

I'm sure that if I tried it they would not only not enhance each other, together they'd somehow produce less than stock.
Does anyone who understands this stuff really well have any helpful thoughts?

Ok so when you lengthen the intake runners using the Crawford BPB parts, it seems to give you a good amount of top end.

According to the Dsport Exhaust shootout dyno sheet, the Peak power in the high end is raised so you will have good high end as well.

This would, most likely, complement your car to have a good high end powerband.

The Berk Technology unit seems to give great high end because the exhaust gas is probably able to move much faster and less restricted than the stock muffler.

After a tune and these parts things can change.

Thanks,
Mike

Had it installed this morning. I could have done it myself but it's cold and wet here and I don't own a garage so it was worth paying someone else.
My impression after driving one block: I have no idea what the hell I was thinking. My God this thing is loud!
My impression after driving thirty miles: I have no idea what the hell I was thinking. My God this thing is loud!
I love the look of the tips but this noise has got to go. The question is, do I
1) sell the thing or
2) cut the tips off and have them welded onto the stock muffler (sounds stupid to me too) or
3) have a muffler welded into the system between the cat and the axle?

If I go with option 3, does anyone have any experience with this and have a recommendation? Something that flows better than stock but isn't stupid loud?
