I have a towhook plate mount, but TBH I end up not running it 95% of the time. It's kind of a pain in the ass to take off for track days.

Yes and no, I did the magnet mod so I can take it off whenever I go to shows or meets and am legal when cruising on the roads.

I have a front plate, but have it mounted on the PERRIN relocator. I'm tired of getting pulled over so I just run one now.

No plate. I drive into work at 5:30am and drive home during rush hour.

No problems yet and today I actually had a cop get next to me, then stare at the front of my car, then get behind me (i thought that he was going to pull me over). He then got next to me and gave me a thumbs up as if he liked my car before he drove off the other direction.

On a side note...I had just finished tracking an F430 this morning and had he written a ticket it wouldn't have made me stop smiling.

isnt that the worst feeling when the cop gets behind you? lol at least you didnt get that ticket. i havnt had any problems so far with no front plate, my arguement would just be this is how it came stock from the dealer... i know i have the mounting bracket in the trunk but i dont want to put it on and make the front end look ugly.

For the past two years, I had no front plate on my Subaru Outback. Most of that time was spent living in Virginia, but 6 months was spent in Chicago, and I never once had issues (both of those states require front plates.) I chalk it up to driving around in an unassuming wagon that doesn't draw much attention.

With the BRZ, I got the license plate mount. Not risking it since this car draws a lot more attention. It's kind of an interesting look anyway. I'd much prefer no plate but I can live with this.

Same here. Magnet mod was relatively easy and I like being able to remove it whenever I want. Sadly, though, even though I put felt pads on the back of the mounting bracket, I still have some marring on the mustache. Oh well.

I use the Skene mount. Two Small screws underneath the bumper lip and some 3M is all it takes.

I got the factory mount. Didn't want to take any chances. That and I have my ham radio callsign on the plate - I pay extra for that so I might as well show it off.

I used Skene mount as well. Asymmetry plate placement really bugs me. I got many no plate tickets before from driving and even parked at parking lots. California cops got no better thing to do.
