We have solved our FI heat problems by installing a huge oil cooler (25 row series 9 setrab). A 20 row may suffice btw but it is untested. NOTE: This has yet to be tested in 100+ degree weather. In 80+ degree weather we were seeing no more than ~215 F oil and coolant driving hard on track. Stock radiator.
I still vote 15 row and a phat fan

My string flew out. What did you do to the cowl? I cut two 3 inch holes in the middle

We pulled the weather stripping thing off.

Out of curiosity, were you experiencing similar heat and air flow issues with the Innovate Intercooled kit u used to have?

In addition to weather stripping I took out the passenger side cowl pieces like I saw someone do on the forum.

I had a robispec radiator/oil cooler thing back when I had the SC. I think it was sufficient but I also wasn't driving as hard back then.

O ok. I been kicking around the idea of FI looking for a modest hp bump while trying to stay as trouble free at the track as possible. This thread hasn't been very inspiring for me to go away from an NA setup.

I would recommend the JRSC. A lot of track enthusiasts are currently running it consistently and I know a few more who are planning on ordering kits next year.

If I didn't go turbo I would hands down get the JRSC.

JRSC is definitely on my short list of possibilities. This thread focused mostly on turbo kits and I was curious to hear from a person with 1st hand experience whether they faced the same issues with an SC kit.

As of now, the JRSC is the only supercharger kit I see at the track. All of the Innovate powered cars have either parted their kits or quit tracking altogether.

At CARB level power, you will have zero heat issues, even in 115F weather, with a stock radiator and fan.

Are these JRSC cars using the JR specific oil cooler or some other solution?
