I have a JDL UEL header and JDL catted frontpipe already, can you PM me your best price on the overpipe so I can be straight JDL from the block to the CBE? Local pickup.

edt: Oops, sorry thought this was the vendor subforum!

JDL EL on the dyno.

Impressive gains even before the tune vs stock, 181 WHP vs 168 WHP stock, on worse quality gas.

Made 188 WHP tuned after mixing my bad Canadian 94 (infamously overrated) with US 92 octane; would have made better gains with a full 92 octane tune but I couldn't get all of my old gas out hahaha.

@JDLAutoDesign, do you have a combo that includes the overpipe and ultra quiet front pipe. I'm not asking for a black friday deal or anything, it's just that you have such combos for test pipe and catted front pipe, but not ultra quiet front pipe.

I could be mistaken, but isn't the "ultra quiet front pipe" just the frontpipe that is catted and resonated? If so, I think this deal is still running:

"$1199 gets you a JDL UEL, Overpipe, and Frontpipe (catless). Want to add a Cat to the Fontpipe? If so just add $80. Want that Frontpipe Resonated and Catted add $150."

If I'm right, it would be $1349 for UEL, OVP, and ultra quiet front pipe.

Not this deal. They have overripe/front pipe combos on their website. I dont want a header yet, definitely dont want an icky sounding UEL. But, thank you for the info.

I would expect this from the government, but hope for a little more in this industry - I work in manufacturing myself. To require payment up front then just sitting on the parts doesn't feel right - perhaps you shouldn't charge until shipment (common in the industry), which provides internal financial motivation to ship.

I sure hope the parts are high quality and make it worth it! The photos look great...

I'm in the same boat, was told 2 weeks tops before they will ship my turbo
Kit out. It's been over 4 weeks and I'm starting to get heated. Every time I call
It's the same bs about my shit getting coated. I expect an expedited shipment
By This week or my lawyer will be on call. At least reply to my emails, I understand the business and I'm patient, but don't blow smoke up my ass and not come to through with your product availability. This is how people go out of business. I hope you do the right thing and take care of your customer.

Bump for Ronnie and JDL!!!

I am now officially on the waiting list:

Catted UEL in Titanium
Overpipe in Titanium
Resonated and Catted Front Pipe in Titanium
And
Dual exit exhaust.... No coating lol

It will be worth the wait and I look forward to completing the rest of my stage 2 leaving no stone unturned. I am 176 at the wheel now and want over 190 on 93+ once I am all done. Shouldn't be too shabby for an Auto... Hee hee

So, how quiet is the "ultra quiet" front pipe? I like where my car is at now (Perrin 2.5" Res CBE, all else stock).

I'm assuming it is quieter than the stock FP. If I were to go with a catless header, would anyone think that buying the ultra quiet front pipe would make up for the loss of the cat in the header (as far as volume is concerned)? Would the whole setup be louder or quieter than what I have now?

I'd say it would still be louder than your current setup, because you can't expect an straight flow resonator to muffle sound as effectively as a cat. Remember that the factory cat is so dense that you can shine a torch at one end and you'll hardly see any light out the other side.

I have the "ultra quiet" fp on my car, along with a tomei uel header, tomei overpipe, and jdl dual exit catback. I love the sound of this combo. It has a deep rumble, it's loud and mean when you want it to be, but it can still be reasonable when driving normally. There is also no rasp and little to no drone, as far as I can tell.

As far as the "ultra quiet" fp goes, it seems like it does a good job of providing extra muffling when compared to other aftermarket front pipes with either a single cat or resonator. Though I can't say exactly how much of a difference it made because my jdl catback has a 22" resonator and large muffler, which are undoubtedly responsible for a good deal of muffling themselves. As mentioned above, a stock cat will always be a bit quieter than a high flow cat (at the expense of some flow, of course), though the additional straight through resonator helps compensate for this.

I plan to record a video of my setup, though I haven't gotten around to it, yet... I'll try to get one up soon.
