Nope, but there have been multiple Release Series for the TC and XB. I have no reason to think the FRS won't also be getting multiple RS's over its lifetime.

I'm on the same boat as OP, test drove my first ever FRS this past weekend when I was inquiring how much would it cost if I did the 90 day deferral promo, it was only 60 months so the payments were too high for me. I tried it in manual, but I stalled twice in the lot before I even left for the street. Dealer then advised me to try it in auto and I did have fun with the paddle shifters, but in the long run I felt that it would be boring for me and the RS would be better in manual. At the same time I also have to consider that my job requires me to have a personal vehicle to transport stuff that the trunk of the FRS may not be able to handle.

Manual will come with practice and you would be amazed at just how much junk you can pack in the trunk!

Agreed ... you can put the rear seats down and pack a bunch of stuff in that area. More room than you would think.

I'm Actually the scion brand manager in Guelph, We did have two, Delivered both of them last week. Awesome looking car if I wasn't a fan of boring old silver I would have probably taken one of them for myself.
But Canadian MSRP is $32,565 plus freight ETC which is $1,830.20 so all in taxes you should be $38,866.57. Scion Canada currently has a rate program 3.99% across the board for the RS models.
If your sales staff was new don't forget you may qualify for grad rebate, If you need any help along the way don't hesitate to ask.

I've got thick shoulders no worries,
Not many stores have a designated scion staff, Because of that many owners miss out on the extras and the percs that come with being a scion owner. As a fellow 86 owner and avid enthusiast I would love to have all the scion business in Ontario but realize some people cant make the trip out so glad to help any time I can.

No problem, There are a few places that are marking the rs versions up. That's not how we do business but I cant speak for everyone else.
Yah unfortunately ours are both gone, one stayed local in Guelph and the other Scarborough. Does your dealer still have one or just promising to get one if you are approved?

Yikes stalling... I would hate to be in that position. I drove the auto tranny with paddle shifters it wasn't bad at all, but when I get mine it will be a manual IF i get it! The halo white auto frs looked great in person, low and wide(to me). Sitting in it was such a snug fit being 6ft didnt bother me at all, nor did I smash my head like I did when my dad had a 2014 corolla for rent. I personally don't need to transport stuff so the trunk space was just fine for me, it was small when I saw it in person maybe the back seat down will help alot!

If that one that you are promised doesn't end up going through, give me a shout here at Redhill Toyota Scion, we have one on lot here.
