Definitely a option, i like the front end but the dismal 0-100 isn't helping its cause.

Golf R

My friend is out of the race. He has caved to a new Golf R...... Not in my price bracket but would be an excellent car. It doesn't arrive until October though and wasn't cheap as he went fully optioned.

I've actually been considering a BMW 1 series or a Mazda CX5 (due to my family thing haha).

I was considering WRX, Golf, Megane 250 Cup. I ended up buying a 97 Soarer because I have a soft spot for them. ill be looking to purchase the 86 in a year or so

Bumping an old thread since there's been a few interesting FWD hatchback pricing released:

Ford Focus ST - $38,290 + ORC

Astra GTC Sport 1.6 Turbo - $34,990 + ORC

Hyundai Veloster SR Turbo - $31,990 + ORC

Yes the focus ST is getting good reviews. If you need to transport people more regularly. Could be a good option, but I'm personally happy to wait for the RWD BRZ.

There is a comparison in Wheels mag between the 86 GT, MX5, RS250 and the WRX. If there is any interest i could scan it up and post it?

There is no alternatives.

You can't beat the 86 for the price.

Ami I kidding myself. I still would have bought it if it was 10k more.

[QUOTE=Palmy;148436]Liberty - Yeeaaahhh... kinda seems like a bigger heavier Impreza to me, I dont really see why you'd buy one over a WRX. Thoughts?
QUOTE]

if u get the 3.0L 6cyl Libertyit has a hell of an engine. Basically if u modify the exhaust u get a Porsche sounding beast espesh if its turbo. Also a good daily while ur at it.
Just my thoughts tho about the car
