Took it on a ~100 mile charge through the mountains. Ate a yummy burrito on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Got a big thumbs up from the driver of a pickup who passed me going the other direction. Got really lucky with traffic: basically got to drive whatever speed I wanted for at least 50 miles of mountain road... the few people I found going the same direction were all really polite and let me by. Didn't get stuck behind anyone until I was almost out of the mountains again.

I had an appointment since Nov. 5th. It was supposed to be last weekend. But when I called Friday the day before, I was told he didn't have the film because he had just ordered it on Tuesday (so basically he sat around for two weeks before ordering it with NO days of leeway.) He said he would have to reschedule for a week later. When I asked him why he hadn't ordered the film, he said he wants because sometimes people cancel, and then he has to pay return shipping. So instead of him eating the couple bucks when customers cancel (which is part of doing business and could easily be solved with a partial down payment by the customer) he now bumps my appointment by a week, causing me to juggle everything on my end to make the next weekend work (and allowing more rock chips to accumulate on the front of my car.)

This weekend I decided to just show up since I hadn't heard anything, and that's when he made me sit around and then pulled the car in before telling me all he had was the wrong size of the wrong material (apparently Xpel sent him the wrong size and he hadn't received the proper size.) And again he made a point to mention that he had to pay return shipping for the wrong size material (huh?!)

Anyway, after I expressed my displeasure and asked for my keys back, he offered to tint my windows for free, but I told him I am not coming back. Screw this guy. Worst customer service ever, and if that's how he treats people, I don't even want to know how he'd treat the car.

Went 20 miles out of my way last night so I could play with the car a bit on a road that's been asking for it for a long time. Felt sooo good

Touching up chips on the edge like that really sucks but its pretty much gone. Ignore some of those smears that's just from the rubbing compound

Also had a long scratch here in the green circle:


It actually looks like some asshat with a lifted truck or something dinged me there because there is a straight small crease in the sheet metal where the scratch was.

during travels for turkey day, my windshield ate a rock thrown up by a normal fullsize chevy. wasnt following terribly closely nor going excessively fast and wasnt on a gravel road. just some freak shizz. it hit within a half inch of the metal at the top of the window above driver head, and created a 3" crack that continued during the week down & towards the middle of the window towards the passanger and stopped right about where i have the radar detector cups just left & below the mirror.
